4/5/2005 - MMA-PAC golf tournament to be held June 8 at Dancing Rabbit
The annual MMA-PAC golf tournament will be held June 8, 2005, at the Dancing Rabbit Golf Course in Philadelphia, Miss. Tournament proceeds will benefit the Mississippi Manufacturers Association Political Action Committee. The tournament is a four-man scramble with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. This year, MMA has reserved both the Oakes and Azalea courses for the tournament. MMA members are encouraged to invite their local senators and representatives to play on their teams. This is an excellent opportunity for members to get to know their legislators and to discuss issues important to their communities and businesses. Cost to participate in the tournament is $600 for a four-man team and $160 per individual player. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Sponsorships are available for the event, course holes, beverage carts and meals. Members may also donate items to be given away as tournament or door prizes.
