5/3/2007 - May is Disability Insurance Awareness Month

Disability insurance remains the most overlooked and least owned of all the major types of insurance. Every day, tens of millions of American workers are at risk of financial ruin because they lack adequate disability income protection. Throughout May, the Life and Health Insurance Foundation for Education (LIFE) and several dozen companies and national trade associations will be joining forces to encourage workers to take stock of their disability insurance needs.
