MMA has seven standing committees designed as a way for our members to create policy and to decide what action MMA will take on issues. The committees are open to all members of the association. MMA Group Insurance and MMA Insurance Services offer discounted insurance rates to MMA members.
MMA and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi have been partners for more than 15 years. MMA also partners with other carriers to offer MMA members long-term and short-term disability and life insurance benefits. In addition to these products, the MMA Group Insurance offers many other employee benefits, such as dental and vision coverage.
The MMA Insurance Services was created in 2010 as a managing general agency and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the MMA Work Comp Group. The MMA WGG and Berkley Southeast Insurance Group partnered to offer better workers' comp rates to our members. MMA Insurance Services and its providers also offer other lines of property & casualty insurance coverage, such as property, general liability and auto insurance, as well as write multi-state operations.

Due to our large member base, MMA has the ability to secure discount programs and services for our members. MMA has negotiated with a variety of companies to offer MMA members discounted rates.
